Within the Bacculus Fornax Memorial Museum of Salt, not far from the City of Primus, are many historical curios. See here, a retelling of the defence of Fort Primus and how salt-based weapons were used to defeat the attacks by stone statues1).
Here a series of dioramas, made from salt, showing a sequence of history of the Guardian: her defence of mortals, her being slain by Kallia and her Twelve Companions, the Crown of Horns stolen and then returned, the Guardian awakening and fighting the people of the Labyrinth, her mind changing once she sees the Bacculus of Kythara, peace between the Guardian and mortals once again.
Ah, and another recreation of the Bacculus of Kythara, this time only at the scale of the actual legendary Forgemaster. A sign beneath speaking of how the salt statue drove the evil spirits away from all Thyslann, and ensured peace between North and South.

On a hilltop, in Kythara, the warm Inner Sea sun yields to a light autumnal rain, which yields to a mild winter, the rare fall of snow.
It lands atop an old salt statue, which seemingly has been here as long as anyone can remember. It depicts a hero of a bygone age. The name 'Bacculus' remains, but little else is known by the people. Historians will tell you much, but who listens to their ramblings?
There is a crack visible in the thigh. The sun, rain, wind and snow have together conspired to damage the ageless giant. A young Ssar, blue and purple in scale, noble in bearing, stands looking up at the statue. He hefts his tools and leans a ladder against the statue. A student from Salt School of Craftsmanship. Many laugh at the name, and few remember its history, yet all remember that the old statue must be maintained — the oldest surviving salt sculpture. The ages turn, and the young Ssar student will soon bring about a Renaissance of salt sculpting once again.
As he repairs the statue, using his mix of crafting know-how and Magic, he is watched from a distance by an unusual figure. A Dragon Angel, the first headteacher of the Salt School of Craftsmanship, though they rarely interfere in its running. They just come to watch and make sure the students do their duty. They nod, satisfied that the legacy of an old Ssar continues to be upheld.
